Hello, I’m Hannah!

Yoga teacher, nature lover and owner of the Mooryoga Studio, based in Lynton, in the heart of the Exmoor National Park.

I have practiced yoga for most of my life. I believe passionately that yoga is one of the best ways to take care of your body and mind. I strive to share this wonderful practice with as many people as possible, helping them to improve their mental and physical awareness, gain a greater connection with their own body mind and soul, whilst building strength, flexibility and balance.

Having practiced many forms of yoga, learning from various disciplines and approaches, I teach a variety of styles including, dynamic Ashtanga inspired Vinyasa flows, gentle yoga, Yin yoga and Restorative yoga. My teaching style emphasises connection over correction - encouraging self-inquiry and self-acceptance.

My classes are creatively sequenced, inspired by the earths cycles and seasons and accessible for all (modifications offered throughout).

My personal mantra ~ “No judgement, no expectation and no comparison.”

Some lovely words from my students……

Hannah always says “no expectations and no judgments” and she absolutely means it. She is so welcoming and kind that no matter your ability you feel comfortable. I went from only having practiced yoga a few times to going three times a week. I have back issues, old injuries from a fall and anxiety, Hannah and yoga have helped with all these things and made me feel stronger physically and mentally. The buzz you get from being able to do a pose you couldn’t do before is amazing. Her support is unmatched and her knowledge of her craft is incredible. Would highly recommend no matter what your level she will make you feel welcome and you will leave feeling better than when you arrived.

Hannah has gone from strength to strength growing such a lovely yoga community within the area. She is an amazing teacher with great knowledge and has created a lovely friendly safe space for people of all abilities to come and practice yoga. I love her wonderful calming voice during savasana, nidra, reading poems and anecdotes. She creates and runs some lovely events which are very inspiring. Truly amazing and would highly recommend.

What makes MOORYOGA so special? For me, It's more than just a class. There is ‘no judgement or expectations’; which is so important if you are not the best or just can't do all the poses. All levels are welcome and included.

It’s about wellbeing, caring, and embracing the seasons, making friends and sharing experiences. Hannah is all of the above and more and she puts her heart and soul into making MOORYOGA a beautiful space whether that be inside or out and sometimes there's cake!

When I started Hannah's yoga class I had no experience of yoga and I was a bit daunted by trying something so different to anything I've done before. But I quickly settled into the class and have found Hannah to be a great teacher putting a lot of thought and passion into each class and adapting to everyone's abilities.

I have been regularly attending Hannah's classes in her beautiful Mooryoga studio for over 18 months and, as a result, I feel stronger, fitter, calmer and happier with a renewed zest for life. It is so uplifting to be part of the yoga community that Hannah has created. From my own personal experience, as one of the older yogis to attend, I totally recommend Hannah's wonderful classes.
