DARK SKIES YOGA WITH MOORYOGA & THE ROOT PROJECT ~ REWILD & RECONNECT UNDER THE DARK SKIES OF EXMOOR NATIONAL PARK.

Join us for three intimate evenings of Yoga under the stars. A chance to connect with nature, rewild yourself and embark upon a 'Dark Skies Yoga' adventure in the heart of Exmoor. On arrival we will enjoy kombucha and a light snack before we take a short walk through the meadow where we will gather together for some yoga under the stars. We will then connect together around a fire to enjoy some heart-warming chai tea, spicy pumpkin soup and homemade sourdough. All food and drink made from ingredients locally sourced and foraged from the land around us. These evenings promise to be a truly magical experience ~ we can't wait to share them with you!

‘SAMHAIN’ EARTH CIRCLE

Mon 28th October 2024 6.30-9pm £15

Come and join me to celebrate the seasonal festival of ‘Samhain’ which falls in the 31st of October.

Following the wheel of the year these circles are a chance to pause and take some time to explore how we can connect more to natures seasons and cycles.

We will gather in the studio - a safe space in which to feel nourished and held. It will be a time to connect, share and inspire one another.

We will arrive and settle in through a grounding and heart opening meditation followed by dome gentle yoga. We will then connect to the earth and discuss living seasonally (seasonal rituals and wellbeing). There will be time to sit and chat, journal and set intentions. There will be spicy chai and cake!

We will close the circle with a mini Yoga Nidra.

CANDLELIT YIN YOGA & YOGA NIDRA

Join me for a relaxing evening of candlelit Yin Yoga followed by a deeply healing guided Yoga Nidra Meditation next to a cosy fire. Followed by Spicy Chai and snacks and a chance to sit and chat.

Yin Yoga is a slower more meditative practice that aims to create inner calm. Postures are held for a longer length of time in a particular sequence stretching and lengthening the ligaments and tendons, improving joint mobility and flexibility. Yin Yoga targets the deep fascia layers (the connective tissue in our body that keeps us intact and connected) that we don’t often reach - freeing stagnant or blocked energy.

The practice of Yoga Nidra is deeply healing and helps to release tension - allowing the nervous system to settle. The practice aims to calm the mind by relaxing the whole body inviting complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation, Allowing you to release what no longer serves you and restore balance in the body and mind. Yoga Nidra has also been found to enhance cognitive performance and memory and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. Through Yoga Nidra we gain a greater sense of self awareness and self compassion, a chance to connect deeper to yourself.
